First episode of The Strangest Thing, the new podcast that is replacing 3 Ring Podcast and Connected World Podcast.

This is a Tech Roundup show with comments on Apple’s new iPod with video announcement today. Also talk about Apple and the prospects for an Apple media hub. My impressions of Google Reader and the Yahoo podcast directory.

I explore and examine my non-podcasting days of late. The show will have a new title and direction or at least a new format. I also talk a bit about the new Amazing Race and ask for some help finding coffee pods for the Black and Decker Home Cafe.

Here is something cool. A $50 mp3 player for kids. Only has 128mg of storage, but does have an sd/mmc slot to add up to 1gig storage. Comes, of course, in several Disney styles including princess and Tinker Bell.
