 The Republican nomination for the ‘08 presidential race was John McCain’s to loose, and loose it he has. With the dramatic announcement today of his two campaign aides leaving and least weeks disappointing fundraising numbers, stick a fork in McCain because he’s done.   This should go down as one of the biggest campaign flameouts of all time.

I had one thought McCain a candidate I might support, but than he completely lost his mind. Strongly supporting a president even republicans can’t deal with anymore and that “bomb Iran” speech. The immigration bill support cemented his fate. John McCain is the living, breathing definition of out-of-touch. The only one more myopic than McCain is President Bush. With McCain out, it makes it even easier for Fred Thomson to waltz in and take it for himself.
