We talk a lot in social media about how companies are no longer in control of their brand, and in many cases their own logo. Google has always had a tradition of changing their logo for special occasions and holidays. But how would you like to put your logo into the hands of gradeschoolers? That’s what Google did for it’s Draw 4 Google contest where kids K-12 were encouraged to draw their own version of the Google logo based around the concept of “What if…”. The winner’s logo was the Google logo for a day. Sometimes not being in control of your brand can be a beautiful thing.
